About Kerman Christian

Mission Statement

To train each student in the way of life presented in the Bible and to provide a foundation for a productive life.

History

In 1993, a group of concerned Christians sensed God’s leading to establish a Christian school that would provide quality education based upon a firm foundation in God’s Word.

Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God.
  • We believe in one True God, eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the Deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His Lordship over all life, and His personal return in power and glory.
  • We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation, such that the Holy Spirit dwells within the believer.
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and lost: they who are saved unto the resurrection of live, and they who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.

They are encouraged to learn the meaning of commitment and demonstrate discipleship in serving God and man. The school is designed to assist each student to grow morally, spiritually, and academically.

Kerman Christian has a commitment to excellence in academic preparation for its students. Mastery of the fundamentals of the content areas necessary for higher level reasoning and thinking is emphasized. Recognizing difference in abilities, each student is encouraged to perform at a level representative of his/her very best efforts. Teaching methods that have proven successful in the past are utilized, while constantly seeking new ways to improve and enhance the learning process are sought.

Kerman Christian views its mission as one which provides quality education in an atmosphere that enhances the teaching of the Christian home and evangelized to the non-Christian. Discipline, which is administered firmly but fairly, encourages the student to obey those in authority over him/her; love God, home and country; seek God’s will in every decision; and always measure his/her attitude against the principles laid out in God’s Word.

Kerman Christian believes that in an atmosphere of strong academic planning, positive spiritual conduct, and personal interest and involvement between staff and students, strong leaders will be cultivated for our community’s future.
